Synopsis: A Boy's Scar

Following the loss of her beloved friend and mentor Ruri Mino, Suzu Kinomoto, affectionately called Suzu, finds herself losing her passion for photography and her job. Though hesitant at first due to her inexperience with children, she eventually assumes responsibility for Ruri's vampire child, Fuusuke, and vows never to abandon him despite his supernatural origins. Together, Suzu and Fuusuke must overcome the challenges of losing someone they love. Suzu resorts to alcohol to ease her pain, while Fuusuke struggles to connect with his new guardian and control his thirst for blood. Despite their differences, the two discover unexpected similarities that bring them closer and pave the way for a new, meaningful bond.
