Synopsis: A Casual Friend

Dong-Ha's first love is a bittersweet memory for him. In high school, he had feelings for Sung-Wu and was delighted to find out that his affection was reciprocated. However, Dong-Ha's fear of losing his friends because of his sexuality prevented him from acting on his emotions. Unfortunately, by the time he mustered the strength to confess his true feelings to Sung-Wu, the latter had disappeared. Remorseful for missing out on his opportunity, Dong-Ha receives a package from Sung-Wu, which contains a novel titled "Memories of Sorrow from Gyeongseong." By reading the book, Dong-Ha is transported to a fictional world where he reunites with a version of Sung-Wu. This time around, Dong-Ha is determined not to let his first love slip away again. However, their love must contend with the harsh realities of the Gyeongseong Era, during which Japan occupies Korea.
