Synopsis: +a no tachiichi

Satoki Houma has come to terms with the fact that she does not fit the standards of the archetypal female protagonist, who is expected to possess a pure heart, be good-natured, and most importantly, beautiful. However, when Satoki and her classmate Haruka Toudou are mysteriously transported to another universe, they discover that the inhabitants are frantically searching for their savoir, the "Holy Maiden," an extraordinary woman with magical abilities. Despite being summoned alongside Haruka, the latter's physical beauty leads the inhabitants to assume that she is the true heroine. Little do they know that Haruka is not actually endowed with the powers of the Holy Maiden, while Satoki possesses them. Despite this fact, Satoki remains content in being an onlooker, withholding the truth from everyone, even Haruka. With her unwavering belief in her unworthiness, Satoki will stop at nothing to ensure that Haruka, who appears to be the ideal savior of the world they have stumbled into, is perceived as such.
