Synopsis: A Queen Worthy of Dishonor

Through a peace marriage with an enemy kingdom, Elfreda becomes queen of a foreign realm. The only one to “welcome” this barbarian-born queen is the assassin sent to kill her. In that moment of absolute crisis, Elfreda is saved by her own husband, Einar — and falls for him at first sight, slowly and helplessly drawn deeper into her feelings.
