Synopsis: Ai Yori Aoshi

Aoi Sakuraba persists in marrying Kaoru Hanabishi, whom she has loved for eighteen long years, much to her family's objections. As soon as he understands that she is sincere in her intentions and not attempting to reunite him with his distant (and overbearing) relatives, he gradually starts to warm up to the suggestion. What difficulties must the duo surmount to unite?
