Once the chief of the Yuuyami, an assassin guild, the murderer of the nation's leader, King Mars. Following this atrocity, the country's princess has offered a substantial reward and the chance to wed her, becoming the subsequent monarch, to whomever apprehends the assassin. Virgil, a red-haired individual who is often mistaken for a female, accompanies a group of performers as they search for his twin brother, Serge. His unusual characteristics correspond to those of the infamous Assassin of Crimson, leading him down a path that unravels the enigma surrounding the deceased king and exposes the identity of the Assassin of Crimson.
