Synopsis: Behind the Scenes

In an extravagant annual production covertly financed by the mafia, the once-prominent actor Lu Huaming finds himself unexpectedly chosen for the role of the second male lead, sharing the screen with the immensely popular actor, Lu Zuo. However, delays in filming test the patience of everyone involved, particularly Long Xiaoyue—the project’s supervisor and the son of the mafia boss. Frustrated with Huaming’s unimpressive acting skills, Long Xiaoyue quickly grows antagonistic towards him. Nevertheless, as their exchanges become more frequent, Long Xiaoyue starts to sense that Huaming is burdened by a hidden and painful past.
