Along the way, Jintarou meets various adventurers and improves his skills, while keeping his gender transformation a secret. The story culminates with Jintarou confronting his real-life issues and eventually becoming one of the greatest National-class adventurers- the Alchemist who wins wars without stepping foot on the battlefield.
