Synopsis: Biting the Master

The leading contender for the throne, Alans, faced an unexpected betrayal from his most loyal aide, Warek, during the election. Alans was stripped of his high status as lord and became a prisoner of Warek. However Warek’s treachery was the result of being manipulated by a malevolent force, which heightened his desires and drove him to act irrationally. After regaining his senses, he understood that he had harmed the one he cherished most and had brought him down from his esteemed position. In order to reclaim his beloved, he set out on a challenging path of atonement.
