Synopsis: Cain of the Beach

This women's drama depicts the love and growth of Nobuko Mori, a boyish girl who struggles with her relationship with her mother. Nobuko Mori arrives in a seaside town and meets Sano, an older woman who lives nearby, when the water supply in a park she tries to drink at is broken. Sano, a designer of children's clothing, invites her to an exhibition, and on the train on the way home Mori confides in Sano that she has trouble wearing skirts.......?
