Synopsis: Campione!

The Campione, a ruler of supreme power, often known as the Godslayer, possesses the ability to vanquish celestial beings and harness the divine forces of the gods. With his skills to eliminate deities, he towers above ordinary mortals, earning the respect of some and the fear of those unable to match his might. During his time in junior high, Kusanagi Godou was a catcher and fourth hitter in the senior baseball league, until an unfortunate injury ended his dreams of a future in the sport. But fate intervened, and he was swept up in a thrilling adventure that culminated in his slaying of the Heretic God, Verethragna, at the age of sixteen, becoming the youngest and seventh Campione. As he faces the responsibility of taking down troublesome gods, Godou must rely on his followers to assist him in his new role as a Campione and Godslayer.
