Synopsis: Chokotan!

The tale revolves around Chokotan, a canine who possesses the rare trait of communicating with humans in their language. Nao, who owns Chokotan, harbors romantic feelings for a man called Arima, who also has a four-legged companion – Hatsupi. In honor of Hatsupi's special day, Nao prepares a batch of biscuits that are safe for both humans and pooches to consume. While strolling down the pavement, Nao and Chokotan encounter Arima and Hatsupi; however, Nao flees without mustering the courage to gift the biscuits to Arima. Chokotan, being the faithful friend that she is, inspires Nao to go back and hand the biscuits over to Arima. The challenge, though, is whether Nao can bring herself to initiate a conversation with Arima, whom she can barely talk to. Moreover, what secrets is Chokotan hiding? This is a tale of a loquacious dog and her owner's inept romance.
