Synopsis: Crueler Than Dead

Maki Akagi, a first-year college student, wakes up in an empty room and hears distressing noises from an unknown location. After investigating the source, she discovers a young child trapped under rubble. This incident awakens her to the bleak reality of Tokyo's post-apocalyptic state.
