Synopsis: Derby Queen

A derby race is the ultimate platform for a thoroughbred to display its prowess. It was supposed to be a glorious day for young Hime and her jockey father when they entered their horse into one such race. Unfortunately, their hopes were dashed as their steed was struck by another horse mid-race, throwing her father off and leading to the horse's death under trampling hooves. Years later, as Hime enters high school, she has sworn off horse racing entirely. Yet, unexpected encounters with two different young men may draw her back into the world that turned her life upside down a decade ago.
