Synopsis: Devils' Line

Although their genetic makeup is similar to humans, vampires blend effortlessly into society without being distinguishable from their mortal counterparts. But there is a crucial dissimilarity: when triggered by the sight of human blood, these vampires - known as "devils" - are overcome by an uncontrollable frenzy. Against this backdrop, Tsukasa Taira, an unassuming girl, captures the attention of Shouta Akimura, a vampire plagued by insatiable bloodlust. To avoid harming her, Shouta feeds on other humans, but the threat of losing control is an ever-present danger. Detective Yuuki Anzai intervenes to prevent Tsukasa from becoming Shouta's next victim. As he takes her under his protection, Tsukasa inexplicably finds herself drawn to Anzai, who is himself a vampire. Together, they delve into a perilous conspiracy of deceit and murder.
