Synopsis: Dragon Ball

The tale of Dragon Ball chronicles the life of Son Goku, from his youthful years to his adulthood, as he undergoes rigorous martial arts training and travels across the land in pursuit of the Dragon Balls, fabled orbs that offer the power to summon a benevolent dragon capable of granting any desire. During his quest, Goku cultivates meaningful relationships with numerous companions, while simultaneously facing off against a diverse assortment of villains, all of whom covet the Dragon Balls for their own reasons. Over time, Goku asserts himself as the most formidable warrior within the cosmos. Dragon Ball's second act, commonly referred to as "Dragon Ball Z" in North America, marks the continuation of Goku's saga. It should be noted that the series comprises a total of 519 main chapters, in addition to one supplemental chapter (Volume 33's "Trunks: The Story").
