Synopsis: Free Soul

After a heated argument with her mother, Keito runs away from home in a state of frustration, unsure of where to go. While helping an elderly woman with her luggage, the kind stranger offers Keito a place to stay in one of her rooms. Grateful for the generosity, Keito begins to pick up the pieces of her life. She works at a music store and creates her own comic book series featuring Angie, a talented black jazz singer. Keito becomes enamored with Niki, a charming trumpet player in a funk band, and the two begin a physical relationship. However, when Keito expresses her desire for a committed relationship, Niki hesitates. Despite this, Keito refuses to give up easily.
