Synopsis: Ghostly Things

There's always that one house in a neighborhood that stands out from the rest, emitting an eerie and rundown vibe. Ayashikotogatari witnesses high schooler Yachiho Takahara moving into one of these houses; a massive abode that's supposedly haunted and was once occupied by a recluse who studied the supernatural. Yachiho believes that this house may hold answers regarding the disappearance of her mother, and is convinced that the Book of the Dead, which is rumored to be hidden somewhere on the premises, may reveal the answers she's been seeking. What Yachiho didn't expect was to stumble upon a hidden passageway, leading to a trove of spirits and creatures lurking on the lower floors of the house. Amongst them, the most prominent is Moro, the spirit caretaker whose role is to guide his kind back to their realm. In her pursuit of the Book of the Dead, Yachiho decides to assist Moro in his duty, yet it might not be as effortless as she thought!
