Amagase Ryou and his family settle in Hisatate Town, a serene hamlet tucked away in the distant mountains following their departure from the bustling city. On his arrival, Ryou is bewildered by the peculiar practices and harsh penalties inflicted on any deviation from the village's rigorous dictums.
