Synopsis: Hanzawa Naoki

At the Osaka Nishi branch of the Tokyo Chuo Bank, Naoki Hanzawa holds the position of Loans Division Chief. To fulfill the loan quota mandated by the headquarters, Branch Manager Tadasu Asano assigns Hanzawa the task of processing a loan for Nishi Osaka Steel. But when the company's president, Mitsuru Higashida, vanishes after taking the loan, Hanzawa is left with the daunting responsibility of recovering the lost funds and salvaging the bank's reputation and financial stability before it's too late.
