Synopsis: Hearing When Touched

Satori Osanaga possesses an otherworldly skill - when she makes physical contact with someone, she can hear their innermost thoughts. However, she sees it as more of a burden than a blessing and strives to avoid touch at all costs. Sadly, her wish for solitude is crushed when classmate Sou Izumisawa hands her an umbrella during a downpour as she stands helpless in front of a shrine. Satori stands out amongst her classmates with her peculiar wardrobe and demeanor, leading to her alienation. Despite this, Sou treats her kindly, and Satori falls for him. Tragically, her feelings trigger her unbearable power within him. Hearing the thoughts of people exhausts him, but the most heart-wrenching thought he hears is that of Mio Yuikawa, his crush, who loves his best friend Takumi Shirase. Overwhelmed by his discovery, Sou is consumed by hopelessness as he's forced to witness the emotions of others. Satori tells him the source of her curse and proposes a solution: if he could make her stop loving him, he'd lose his supernatural ability. To accomplish this, however, Sou has to get Mio to reciprocate his love.
