Synopsis: Heaven's Door

Harumi, who has been restricted to a hospital for most of her life due to a serious illness, leads a dull routine until she meets Masato, a fellow patient. Although Masato indulges in harmful habits such as chain smoking and excessive drinking, they strike up a friendship out of sheer boredom. This engaging story follows their meeting and the evening they spend conversing about the impact of dying young.
