Synopsis: Her Lies (Vigor Comic)

In order to escape her violent, alcoholic foster father and the precarious existence of the slums, maid Sheila Godwin volunteers to impersonate a countess and travel north to become the lecherous Duke Alcott's fourth wife. She plans to poison the duke on their wedding day to avoid suffering the same fate as his previous wives. However, upon arrival, she is stranded in a snow cave and rescued by the Duke's second son.
