Synopsis: Heroine for Hire

After devoting the majority of her life to martial arts, Shuko Kodakamine hopes to distance herself from her hobby when she enters high school. She yearns for a more feminine existence and longs to experience love like her peers. However, her wishful thinking takes a turn when she nearly collides with the charming Masaki Serizawa, who leaves an indelible mark on her. To know more about Serizawa, she inquires around, only to hear rumors that he stole someone else's girlfriend. When Serizawa faces a jealous boyfriend of the taken girl, Kodakamine instinctively intervenes and helps clarify the misunderstanding. After seeing how Kodakamine holds her ground and anticipating potential problems due to his popularity, Serizawa invites her to be his bodyguard. Despite it not being the high school life she expected, Kodakamine discovers newfound strength in herself and the pleasant sides of the mysterious Serizawa during her time acting as his protector.
