Synopsis: Hidari Te

The story revolves around a young boy who harbors a fear of the outside world and seeks refuge by hiding under the protective cover of his futon. Envisioning it as a kekkai, a barrier against evil, gives him a sense of safety. While hospitalized, he stumbles upon a beautiful girl in a nearby room, unconscious with one hand exposed. When he returns to visit her, her hand has been mysteriously severed. Consumed with regret for not covering her hand to protect her from malevolent spirits, he grapples with his fear and guilt.
