Synopsis: History is at the library
Ferdy is an author celebrated throughout the continent for his provocative novels. However, the widely recognized writer is, unexpectedly, Vivian, a reserved woman employed as a night librarian at the Imperial Library. Each of her latest publications has been a success, receiving fervent admiration from readers, but her fourth book faces severe criticism, with many claiming the sexual descriptions come off as overly sterile. The issue extends beyond her literary abilities. Bound by a longstanding contract, Vivian is pledged to remain a virgin, and thus, she has been writing without any personal experience. While she presents herself as graceful and composed, she has led a life where her own desires have been stifled. Then one evening, while she is working late at the library, Aiden, the emperor's brother and the cold, merciless prince of the court, makes an appearance, causing her ordinary life to tremble. Aiden is typically perceived as distant and icy. However, in the presence of Vivian, he displays an unexpected gentleness and starts to show curiosity about her secret. He then states, "I can break that contract for you."
