Maise Hazelnut differs from most women who fantasize about being the romantic interest of a charming lead character in a novel. As a girl from the 21st century, Maise struggles to maintain a pure facade while confronting the predetermined destiny of a harem romance novel. Adding to her distress, her boyfriend happens to be the lovable and goofy protagonist of the book, and every woman within its pages has her sights set on him. Maise chooses to end the relationship to pursue her own happily ever after, and on a blind date, she meets Eith Lancell.
