Kakeru Komiyama was an average fifth-grader, showing moderate skills both in academics and sports. In contrast, his classmate Eina Komiyama was a shining star who excelled in every aspect of life. Even though Eina was leading an impressive life, Kakeru saw through her pretense and observed a fragile side to her personality. He felt apprehensive about her but sadly, Eina vanished without a word of farewell, and Kakeru ended up with a normal high school life with no outstanding accomplishments. However, fate had different plans for him. After several years, he accidentally bumped into Eina, who had only changed her last name, and resurrected their childhood bond. But, unexpectedly, their rekindled relationship got embroiled in perplexing love threads.
