Synopsis: I Was Human

Although the year is 2222, hover cars and time machines still remain as mere figments of the imagination, failing to materialize into reality. However, the Soul Foundry stands as an exception, a towering structure where an innovative medical breakthrough takes place - the transplantation of souls between bodies. Manami, a schoolgirl residing in the town below the Soul Foundry, spends her summer vacation infatuated with Kazusa, a popular student from her class. However, upon their initial encounter, Kazusa's hostile behaviour repels Manami, causing her to regret ever having any interest in him. Inadvertently, an accident befalls Kazusa, leading him to rely on the Soul Foundry for his recovery. Unfortunately, the rehabilitation process will require his soul to take temporary shelter in the body of a hamster. Assigned as Kazusa's caretaker, Manami begrudgingly assumes the responsibility of tending to him in his new furry form. Yet, as the week unfolds, an unexpected bond forms between them, shedding light on a vexing predicament - whether their relationship will survive once they revert to their former selves.
