Synopsis: I Won't Let Go of This Hand

Kou and Yukako's close childhood friendship was abruptly ended when Yukako's family relocated due to financial difficulties. Kou still holds fond memories of Yukako as his first love, although he insists that he has moved on. Nevertheless, he seeks out romantic relationships only with girls who bear a resemblance to his childhood friend. After years of separation, the duo crosses paths once again. However, things are not as they once were. While Kou has remained unchanged, Yukako is now vulnerable and barely surviving. She resorts to theft to keep herself fed and resides with an enigmatic figure she refers to as her "guardian." The story is narrated across two volumes - "Mukigen no Shiawase" and "Sonna Romance."
