Synopsis: Inou Fukushuusha - ALIUS

Takagi Sōma is an "ALIUS," a new breed of human possessing a DNA type distinct from regular Homo sapiens, endowed with the ability to manipulate others. His father has instructed him never to utilize this power, allowing Sōma to lead a seemingly "normal" and content life with his family. This tranquility shatters when his father faces accusations of embezzling one billion yen. Following his father's suicide while in custody, Sōma's mother also takes her life upon receiving the devastating news, leaving him entirely alone during his high school years. In his profound sorrow, Sōma discovers a notebook left by his father, containing the names of prominent local individuals and records of illegal finances. Believing his father has been wronged, Sōma unexpectedly meets a powerful heir from a conglomerate—who bears his exact name—but is currently in a comatose state. "If I could assume his identity, I could reach the individuals responsible for my father's downfall..." Determined to reveal the truth behind the situation, Sōma decides to defy his father's wishes and employ his forbidden abilities, embarking on a journey of calculated possession and unyielding vengeance.
