Synopsis: Jagaaaaaan

Shintarou Jagasaki is a regular police officer living a typical life in his neighborhood. Though he is known to act silly at times and has an impending wedding with his girlfriend, he secretly harbors a deep desire to shoot his troublesome peers with a gun, just like his favorite idol, the eggplant costume-clad hero of their town. However, his mundane existence is shattered when he witnesses a monstrous figure brutally killing his partner. As he prepares for his own demise, Shintarou unleashes a fatal projectile from his finger, causing him to be covered in an unknown substance. Above him, an owl reveals the attacker's true identity as a "Mad Xenopus" creature - a frog-like entity that overtakes human hosts and alters their bodies. Initially, Shintarou refuses to accept the reality of these beings. But when his fiancée falls victim to the same fate, he decides to take a stand and eliminate the former humans to ensure his survival.
