Synopsis: Kieli

The Undying were once weapons, forged from the corpses of fallen soldiers, and gifted with near-immortality. But after the war, their usefulness waned, and the Church orchestrated a merciless hunt. Now, nearly eight decades later, only a handful of Undying remain. Kieli, an orphan studying at a religious boarding school, has a unique ability to see spirits. She spends much of her time conversing with Becca, the ghostly former occupant of her room. One fateful day, she meets Harvey, a distant and enigmatic survivor of the Undying. He heroically saves Kieli from a fatal train wreck, endangering himself in the process. Intrigued by Harvey, Kieli agrees to help him fulfill a promise to a radio-poised soldier spirit - to reunite him with his mortal remains. As they embark on their journey, Kieli discovers the depth of Harvey's anguish, born of the trauma of war, while simultaneously learning his hidden kindness beyond his stoic facade. A lasting bond forms between the two, and perhaps Harvey will regain the warmth he had lost.
