Synopsis: Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You

Mistaken often for the malevolent Sadako Yamamura from The Ring, Sawako Kuronuma, a 15-year-old student, is the subject of scrutiny from her peers who dub her "Sadako" due to her striking resemblance to the horror film character. Despite her amiable disposition and diligent work ethic, her unusual appearance and lack of emotional expression keep others at bay. Sawako's earnest yearning for companionship leads her to admire Shouta Kazehaya, the most well-liked boy in their class. His charming persona and natural charisma draw people to him effortlessly, and Sawako hopes to emulate him to improve her social skills. She starts spending more time with Kazehaya and finds herself exploring her suppressed desires with his unwavering support and encouragement. One chapter included in the series, Volume 22, is "45° Eyebrows," also known as "Mayuge no Kakudo wa 45° de," which tells the story of Sawako's fateful encounter with a boy with distinct eyebrows.
