Synopsis: King Sprint

“Climb up with your own two feet! An underdog sprint revolution story!” Ever since kindergarten and elementary school, the protagonist, Kugami Ayumu, has always been the one getting chased around by others. At the national track and field championships, in the 100-meter dash, Tora Igarashi of Ōkawa Academy claimed victory with overwhelming strength. “The prey” and “the king.” One day, the two of them meet. Ayumu, who has only ever been bullied and forced to run away, now sets his sights on the king waiting at the top of the ecosystem known as the 100-meter dash. “I’ll hunt him down with nothing but my own legs!!!” And so begins a dramatic underdog comeback and growth story.
