Synopsis: Koi wa Misoji wo Sugite kara

Sakura Uehara, a 30-year-old woman, has devoted herself to her job and hasn't dated since high school. Without the opportunity to attend university, she dove straight into the workforce and made it her mission to prove herself as capable as those college-educated colleagues her company so highly values. Now the head of her department after 12 years with the same company, fate places one of those college-educated colleagues, Yamada, under her direct supervision. Yamada is not only talented and handsome, but also destined for a higher position than Sakura. Her resentment towards him grows. Driven by pride, Sakura takes on a deadline-heavy project and works late into the night. A power outage erases her work, and in a moment of frustration and defeat, Sakura falls apart, knowing she won't be able to meet the deadline. Yamada comes to her aid and together they complete the project on time. Grateful, Sakura offers Yamada anything he wants, and he requests a date. Sakura reluctantly agrees, and finds herself in a love hotel with the man she despises. Can Yamada break past her tough exterior and touch her heart? Included are one-shot stories: "Boku ga Seifuku ni Kigaetara" and "Ohikkoshi Bugi."
