Kyouko Karasuma is a sixteen-year-old prodigious detective serving in a unique division of the Asakusa Police Department in Tokyo post-2050. Her investigative cases are far from ordinary, as she tackles battles against oni, tengu, and other mystical creatures from ancient Asian fables. The dynamic action in the story is complemented perfectly by the contemporary art style by the character designer of Speed Grapher, and the artwork progressively enhances with every installment.
