Synopsis: Lupin the 3rd

For the first time in the United States, Monkey Punch's beloved series featuring the infamous Lupin III has been released. This timeless classic highlights the adventures of an international thief of high repute, who aims to steal from the wealthy and keep the spoils for himself, all while avoiding preying on the virtuous. Lupin's alliances lean towards the dubious in character, notably including Daisuke Jigen, a former assassin with a solemn disposition complete with a signature black fedora concealing his eyes. Goemon Ishikawa, a samurai-like swordsman with a cryptic persona, pops in and out of Lupin's exploits. Fujiko Mine is Lupin's romantic interest and also a thief. The pair often competes for major heists. Lupin III and his associates find themselves pursued by law enforcement, including Interpol and Inspector Zenigata. Their encounters are complicated, consisting of mutual respect and total disgust. Despite their collaborations, each acknowledges their animosity towards the other, which resumes after the situation is resolved.
