To verify these claims, The Land of Magic dispatches two Magical Girls for an investigation. However, what they discover is a vast dome-like barrier. Within it lies a collective of Magical Girls who refer to themselves as The Resistance. They assert that they are battling against what they perceive as the corrupt regime of The Land of Magic. As communication with their two operatives is lost, tensions rise as both factions become embroiled in a confrontation within F-City.
