Synopsis: Maple Purple

After being turned down by a girl he's fond of and getting hit by Rukawa, a rival, for interrupting his confession to the girl, Akagi seeks retribution against Rukawa. Motivated by multiple reasons, Akagi and his teammates propose a basketball match against Rukawa and his team in the regional championship. Which team will emerge victorious?
