Synopsis: MÄR

Ginta Toramizu is an underachieving 14-year-old. He wears glasses, struggles in school, is unathletic, and is vertically challenged. However, Ginta often daydreams of the same elaborate fantasy world where he is a skilled hero possessing all the qualities he lacks in reality. One day, a supernatural figure appears at Ginta's school and transports him to an unfamiliar world filled with enchantment and sorcery. Here, he is physically strong, dexterous, and no longer needs glasses. Ginta embarks on an otherworldly journey to locate the powerful "ÄRMS," which may enable him to return home. Accompanying him on this grand undertaking is his comrade Jack, and the coveted living "Babbo," a talking iron-ball weapon with a moustache, that only Ginta can wield.
