Synopsis: Mayple-san no Koucha Jikan

Several years after a catastrophic war, during which formidable 'mechanical dolls' savagely massacred numerous individuals, the story unfolds. These android weapons bear an uncanny resemblance to humans and continue to instill terror and animosity. During a tempestuous day, Craw comes across one of these 'dolls.' However, unlike the weapon he envisaged, she is affable, genial, and exceedingly enthusiastic about assisting those around her. She identifies herself as Mayple and is appropriately programmed as a cook and maid. Before long, Craw establishes a café, enabling Mayple to create cakes and tea for everyone in the locality. However, the journey ahead is fraught with obstacles as many in the town hold an instilled disdain towards her, willing to employ violence against her. But perhaps Mayple, who always exudes a positive attitude, will ultimately discover a way to overcome the hostility and effectively cement her place within the post-war realm.
