Synopsis: Mikado no Shihou

During the Shou Dynasty, a widespread famine drove Kouran, a desperate villager, to resort to theft to make ends meet. She infiltrated the palace in search of riches, but stumbled upon the striking Shiki instead. The following day, news of a prince's murder and the killer's escape sent shockwaves throughout the realm. Despite her suspicions that Shiki was responsible, his genuine kindness left her thoroughly perplexed.
