Synopsis: Moujuu wa Ori no Naka

Humans cannot always be trusted as they tend to betray each other. The kingdom of Gulba is currently experiencing a rebellion against its young prince. To safeguard the realm from the rebels, a specialized guard has been established. The captain in charge is known as Carla, the Beast Tamer. Her aide and bodyguard, the tall and handsome Hazel, is the only person she trusts. Carla made a promise to avenge her father's death at the hands of the rebels. She rescues Hazel from the circus and trains him herself. However, as the rebel attacks intensify, a traitor emerges within the ranks of the guard. Furthermore, Hazel's behavior becomes peculiar, causing Carla to question her trust in him.
