Synopsis: Nasu

The Nasu manga series revolves around a set of recurring characters, including farmer Takama and an abandoned young girl, Aya Takashi, who initially lives in Tokyo with her siblings before relocating to the countryside near Takama's farm in the second volume. Alongside their storylines, Nasu also features several other narratives. Among these are the account of samurai during the Edo period hunting forbidden eggplants, a futuristic tale set atop Mount Fuji, a truck driver's adventure, and the acclaimed Summer in Andalusia, which chronicles the life of professional Spanish cyclist Pepe Benengeli and served as the basis for the movie adaptation.
