Synopsis: Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?

After a middle-aged man deceives him by posing as a girl named Nekohime in an online game, Hideki Nishimura swears never to trust or pursue virtual relationships again. However, his resolve wavers when Ako Tamaki, a guildmate from Alley Cats, proposes to him through the same game. Despite Ako's assurances that she is a real girl, Hideki remains skeptical until their guild master, Apricot, reveals her own gender and sets up an offline gathering with Ako and another male guild member, Schwein. Although hesitant, Hideki agrees to attend and is astonished to find that all of his guildmates attend the same high school and are genuine girls. Ako is the only one who spends all day gaming and refuses to attend school. In an effort to encourage her to improve her grades and attendance, they form a gaming club, embarking on a new adventure in the offline world as the Alley Cats.
