Synopsis: Nijiiro Tougarashi

The story takes place in a planet that bears undeniable resemblance to Earth during the Edo period. However, Adachi (the mangaka) constantly emphasizes throughout the series that this setting exists in a faraway future, and it merely shares Earth's appearance. After the passing of his mother, Shichimi embarks on a journey to reunite with his step-siblings, who reside in Karakuri Tenement- a home provided by their estranged father. Despite having different mothers- all of whom have passed away- they share the same father. Shortly after, they decide to travel together to pay their respects at each mother's grave. This quest, however, is not without peril.
