Synopsis: Nobunaga no Chef

A confused young man is jolted awake by a stranger only to discover that the two of them are stuck in 16th century Japan, during the Warring States Period. The stranger tends to his wounds but their relief is short-lived as they are discovered and accused of being spies, prompting them to flee from the pursuing militia. Tragically, the stranger is fatally struck by an arrow before Ken's very eyes, urging him to survive and return to their original time period in the Heisei Era. Fortunately, Ken manages to escape and meets Natsu, a compassionate metalsmith who sympathizes with his situation and takes him in. Ken discovers that despite his amnesia, he has retained his culinary abilities and memories of the turbulent Warring States Period, including future events yet to unfold. Spending time with Natsu, his cooking skills become the talk of the town, and his reputation catches the eye of the notorious and powerful Oda Nobunaga. As rumored, Nobunaga is a formidable, unyielding, and fearsome figure who allows no opposition, commanding Ken to become his personal chef. Kens' gift for cooking quickly impresses Nobunaga, who employs him to help achieve his political and military ambitions. Ken's unique knowledge of historical events and culinary talent, enthralls and astounds Nobunaga's allies and foes alike, earning him the warlord's trust and admiration.
