Synopsis: One Step from Hell

"Are you open to considering the existence of the devil if you reject the idea of God?" A voice softly tempted a child who fled from an abusive situation with enticing assurances. "Strike a bargain with me, and I'll grant you three wishes." With the child's life at stake, they bargained with the devil and assumed a new identity - Daniel Barton - to start life anew. Many years have passed, and Daniel, now an adult, glimpses an incredibly attractive man outside the Washington Hotel on his way to work.
