Synopsis: Ookami Rise

After Japan's disappearance, the island was divided into two territories, governed by Russia and China, respectively. The boundary between the two nations is heavily guarded by a demilitarized buffer zone, which is uninhabited. The Wolang, 49 people who escaped from a failed Chinese military experiment designed to turn them into biological weapons to use against Russia, have sought refuge within this area. The Wolang are trapped in a dangerous situation, caught between China's attempts to erase all signs of their experiments and Russia's desire to capture and study them. Their chance of survival depends on their ability to fight fiercely.
